Quality Hotel Grand Royal - Narvik

The modern part of the hotel offers spacious, clean rooms with tea and coffee facilities, and the lined curtains effectively block out the midnight sun.

Unfortunately, I found myself in the old section of the hotel, where the room felt outdated and cramped. The bathroom design left much to be desired, flooding with ease due to the lack of a shower door, and the absence of air-conditioning resulted in stuffy evenings when the windows would only open partially.

The rooms are brand-new and have incredible view of the lake. Favourable location next to the shopping mall as well as train and bus stations, it's central.

The hotel is clean, has views of the lake. The venue serves marvellous breakfasts and offers brand-new and immaculately clean rooms with good black-out curtains, a minibar had been. Perfect and handy location, a train station is near the hotel. And it's by Taraldsvikelva.

Very friendly, cheerful and willing reception and cafeteria staff. High quality breakfast, varied in both sweet and savoury, and with a sufficiently wide timetable to be able to enjoy it. WIFI fast and with quite good signal, at least in the common areas and in the room I was staying. Normal size room, and quite big bathroom, simple, but with all the necessary, well distributed and well used all the space, as they announced it in the web. Good cleanliness of the room, as well as the bathroom too. Free covered parking in the shopping center next door. Perfect if you travel by motorbike as it transmits a lot but that much security. It is not necessary to make a reservation, so if you do not know the means of transport to use, you will not be able to get there and not have a place.

Nice and comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast. We had a discount on the bill when we complained about a very disturbing road work outside that lasted almost all night, that was a positive and professional handling of a complaint.

Very warm when we were there and windows could not be opened during night due to noice from traffic outside, E6 passes by just in front of the hotel. Windows were being replaced on some floors which also caused some mess.

My double room was surprisingly spacious. The breakfast buffet was really good, with a variety of locally sourced dishes that energized me for the day ahead. The rooftop bar's panoramic views of the fjord were a amazing experience, especially while sipping on a delicious cocktail.

had a fairly nice stay here. stayed here for 1 day, truly enjoyed the hotel, it was clean with convenient and absolutely perfect location close to station. location: the venue was close to a shopping centre, rail stations and bus stations and the shopping mall multi storey next door. very helpful and excellent staff, provided information if needed.

The room I booked was reasonably spacious and bright with the nice view. It was in a handy and excellant location near the train station.

No ventilation in the room, which makes the room a bit stuffy without opening the window.

The young male receptionist was very helpful in helping us to recover some lost luggage.

The stay was convenient for exploring the nearby museums and train station. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering many tasty options that were well-prepared. Plus, the idea of taking food from the buffet to enjoy later is a great touch. The room felt spacious and comfortable, which definitely added to the experience, especially after a day of exploring.

The price was ridiculous, but maybe that is simply Norway.

If you're a foodie, the grilled dishes at Linken Restaurant og Bar are a must-try, mouthwatering! I also enjoyed the cozy ambiance of the bar/lounge area. Plus, the breakfast is a real standout with plenty of options to boost your energy for the adventures ahead.

I found myself in the oldest section of the hotel, and it seemed like stepping back 30 years. The area around the hotel didn't have much to offer view-wise either. Still, everything else shined was nice.
